Velvet Accents

If you knew the importance of velvet in my life, you will consider me a maniac. But I believe this is one of the most sophisticated and sultry fabrics out there. To me, it speaks of refine taste, eccentric but also sensual.

Studying Interior Design for the last four years of my life, lead me to explore more with this natural texture textile. I found a couple of images that are close to my heart.

A great way to accentuate a hall and showcase velvet

Those chairs are blowing my mind. The way that they frame the table invites for a beautiful dinner night.

What inspire me the most about this room is the contrast of classic pieces and of course the photography of Snoop dog right above a gorgeous velvet couch. It is all about balance my friends. 

So how could add velvet in your life? I recommend small steps. Velvet can help you add richness to a room as well as an accent colors.
